Interesting projects on GitHub/January

Published on February 2, 2013

Looks like Phabricator is standing the test of fire, so this month among some projects related to Apple technologies you’ll find some software projects apps that i’m considering porting to phabricator.

  • A Kanban board for GitHub issues, here is the repo or go straight to the site to see how it looks. Interesting lightweight methodology that could help tracking time and understand posthumously how much a fix or a feature did cost, again, in term of time. And if you clicked on the wiki link above, be sure to check out Kaizen too.
  • 99Designs builds a pixel graphic bugfixing stats dashboard. What’s not to like? link
  • Impress.js, beautiful framework for CSS3 presentation, check out the demo here and clone the repo from here. Similar to the presentation kit from Google but more animation-centric.
  • ShairPort, turns linux systems in endpoints for itunes stream (audio only), get it here.
  • Library to find an iDevice using Apple’s API. link
  • A nicely designed opensource osx music player app from @ashfurrow, clone it here.
  • Seen often last year when every app could still download your contacts without you even knowing, MitmProxy is an HTTPS traffic inspector. Source from here.
